So, let us get on with it here is my pork slider recipe that I’m sharing with you.
What’s In A Pork Slider?
Pork sliders are usually made with ground pork, which is then mixed with aromatics like garlic, sesame, dark soy, and seasonings, then formed into small patties. The patties are then either grilled or fried and served on a slider bun with various toppings.
Slider buns are small burger buns. Some popular toppings include avocado, mayo, bbq sauce, a slaw of apple, carrots, and mung bean sprouts with a vinaigrette dressing.
How Do You Make The Perfect Slider Patty?
When it comes to making ground pork slider patties, the process is actually pretty simple. All you need is some ground pork shoulder, some aromatics, and seasonings.
The key to making delicious pork patties is to make sure that the pork has a nice amount of fat content, an 80/20 mix that’s 80% lean pork to 20% fat, ground pork shoulder is perfect. Otherwise, you’ll end up with patties that are too dry and tasteless.
Here is my pork slider patty recipe that will yield about 12 small patties:
- 1 lb or 500gms ground pork shoulder
- 6 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp sherry
- Himalayan pink salt and freshly ground black pepper
Mix all the ingredients together and roll them out into small golf ball-sized portions. Place the portioned pork into the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet, and place in the balls of pork, using some grease-proof paper and a burger press to flatten them out. Cook on both sides for 2-3 minutes.
